How pack battles work

Updated 27 October 2026

In a battle, 2 to 4 players open the same packs, one pack per round. Every open is an ordinary provably fair open with its pack's own odds, so a battle changes nothing about what comes out of a pack. It only decides who the opened items go to.

Joining

  • The entry is the sum of the battle's pack prices. It is taken when you sit down and refunded if you leave before the battle starts, or if it is not filled in time.
  • When the last seat is taken, every pack is opened for every seat at once and the room replays the result round by round.
  • The creator can fill empty seats with bots on battles up to $50.00 an entry. Against a bot, the house is the other side of the table; a bot that wins takes nothing anywhere.
  • Facing another real player needs a completed deposit on the account. Battles against bots are open to everyone.

The four modes

ModeWho winsWhat they get
ClassicThe seat with the highest total valueEvery item opened in the battle
JackpotOne seat, drawn at random; each seat's chance is its share of the total valueEvery item opened
ShareEveryoneThe total value split evenly, paid to the balance
2v2The team (seats 1 + 2 or 3 + 4) with the higher totalThe total split between the two winners, paid to the balance

A tie in Classic or 2v2, and the Jackpot draw, are decided by one more provably fair roll from a seed derived from the creator's own seed pair, so the house cannot pick it after the fact.

A Jackpot example

Two players. After three rounds one has opened items worth $12, the other $8. The table is $20, so the first player has a 60% chance and the second 40%. The draw lands, and the winner takes all the items, $20 of them.

Each seat's chance in that Jackpot
  • Player 1 · opened $1260%
  • Player 2 · opened $840%

What it counts for

A battle entry counts like opening those packs yourself: toward your rank, the Weekly Race and the deposit playthrough, at the moment the battle starts. Each pack in a battle is one round.

Questions

Are pack battles fair?
Each round is a normal provably fair open with the pack's published odds; only the winner rule is new, and its one extra roll can be recomputed too.
Can I leave a battle?
Before it starts, yes: the entry comes back. Once the last seat is taken the result is already decided.
What happens if nobody joins?
A waiting battle that is not filled in time is cancelled and the entry refunded.
