How we keep money clean.
The checks every deposit and withdrawal goes through, in plain words.

Kruna is a shop, and like any business that takes money it must not be used to launder it. These are the rules the site enforces. Our full internal policy is longer; this page is the summary.
Deposits
Every deposit is tied to one account.
Each account gets its own permanent deposit address for each coin, so every deposit can be traced to the account that made it. Card payments run through a payment provider that checks the cardholder itself.
A deposit must be spent on packs once before it can be withdrawn. Money cannot go in and straight back out.
Withdrawals
Larger withdrawals are reviewed by a person.
Withdrawals above a daily limit are held until a member of our team has reviewed the account.
We pay out only to a crypto address you give us, never to a third party on your behalf.
Identity checks
We may ask who you are at any time.
We may ask for a photo ID, a selfie, proof of address or proof of where your money came from, before a withdrawal or at any other time. Until we have it, we may pause the account and hold its balance.
We do not accept customers who are under 18 or who are in a country where Kruna is not available.
When something looks wrong
We stop first and ask questions after.
We may hold, reverse or refuse a transaction and close an account linked to fraud, multi-accounting, chargeback abuse or money laundering.
Where the law requires it, we report suspicious activity to the authorities, and we may not be allowed to tell you that we have.
Records
Kept for as long as the law requires.
We keep records of deposits, withdrawals and the checks around them for the period anti-money-laundering law requires after an account closes, typically five years.
